Healthy snowball cookies

The writers for healthy dessert recipes decided to do some digging. We came up with healthy snowball cookies. As with anything we list the final product will depend on what you use. If you are not cooking for a diabetic.  Then you can use powdered sugar.  For that top layer of goodness. Although to keep it healthy we suggest Powdered Coconut Sugar.

We are not doctors. So please do your research like we did. If you are cooking for a diabetic then you can use powdered stevia. Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics was evaluated in a study. This was published in 2008 in the “Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology” journal. The results showed that post-treatment blood glucose levels were not significantly different,  from baseline measurements.  This compared to groups that were given stevia. If you are not sure ask your doctor. If you want to skip the sugar all together.  Then you can use Powdered Coconut Sugar for you Healthy Snowball Cookies.
